Established in February 2024 by Rick Lanshaw, a dedicated greenskeeper at Monarch Dunes Golf Resort in Nipomo, California, our company is proud to call the beautiful city of Laguna Hills our home. A grateful transplant from Riverside, California, and graduate of Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, Rick brings a wealth of expertise and passion for outdoor stewardship to your community.

Gophers are notorious for their elusive nature, however our exclusive method involves pumping a specialized mud sealant directly into tunnels, effectively sealing off underground networks. This sealant not only suffocates and expels existing pests but also hardens to create a durable barrier that prevents re-entry, providing lasting results for years to come.

Thank you sincerely for expressing interest in our services. I pursued a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics during my collegiate studies. However, instead of following the conventional paths of teaching or computer programming, my professional journey took a different turn.
After exploring various career avenues, I found myself drawn to greenskeeping at Monarch Dunes Golf Resort. Working amidst the picturesque Nipomo sunrises, I specialized in tasks such as cutting cups and managing gopher populations. Over time, I recognized the transferability of my skills beyond the confines of the golf course. Eventually I relocated from the Central Coast to Orange County to be closer to family—and the warmer water doesn’t hurt, especially for a dedicated surfer like myself.
In my leisure time, you might catch sight of me enjoying a round of golf or surfing the waves at Trestles. Should our paths cross, I welcome the opportunity to connect.
